The collection of the museum is for sale, as a whole (not piecemeal).
The heart of the collection is around 40,000 stereo pictures of various formats, dating as far as 1850, and coming from all over the world. Of these, around 850 are nude photographs using stereo technology from 1850 onwards.
These stereo images may be viewed with the associated 470 stereo viewers, 36 stereo viewing machines, and 11 stereo projectors, produced from 1860 by Alexander Beckers of Philadelphia (USA) and famed French manufacturers through the 19th and 20th centuries.
The collection includes 230 stereo cameras, accessories such as stereo splitters, redufocus, trays/magazines, light meters, flash lamps, close-up lenses, filters, and print & development equipment such as enlargers, copy frames, lab lamps and supplies.
The collection is rounded off with 39 mono cameras and 5 magic lanterns as well as 9 projectors.
